I was absorbed in the book's clutches - it was adventurous and fun, silly and surprising.

This was a mystery about why Laura (the enemy of Dot, the main character) was spoiling all the games at adventure camp. The ending was not at all expected! I felt like I had stolen someone's diary and was reading it to myself.
The book was very very entertaining. The way the words were written was fun - some are bold and thick, some are big and wonky, some look handwritten and some look like they've been stamped. I like how the best, best, best page was done in all black with white writing, so it could even be seen from the outside of the book.
I would recommend this book and I want to read all the Dotty Detective books now.
I'll review more soon!

This diary-style book had Rosa cackling with delight as she flew through its pages. The variety in text and plenty of pictures makes this easy to digest for the younger reader. 6+ -Rosa's Mum
