The Mystery Kitten by Holly Webb

I chose this book because the kitten on the front cover is SO adorable!

Elsa (the main character - and not the one from Frozen) has just moved house and now she keeps hearing scratching noises in the night. Dad says the house is just old, but Elsa is still spooked. Eventually, she finds out it was all made by a kitten!

Elsa names the kitten but has to keep it a secret from her dad and her sister, Sara. Will she manage to hide the kitten or will her family find out? You'll have to read it to find out, because I'm not giving anything else away!

This book made me feel all warm and cosy, and I wanted the kitten as my pet. There are lots of twists and turns to the story, I enjoyed reading it, and I had that feeling of when you finish a book but you want to keep reading.
